Laboure Student Earns HIT Award

We are excited to announce that Lynne Bridges has been awarded the 2016 Student Achievement Award from the Massachusetts Health Information Management Association (MaHIMA). 

“The Student Achievement Award recognizes an HIT or HIM student for their academic achievements, demonstrated leadership, and high ethical and moral values.”

Lynne Bridges was recommended for this award specifically for her:

  • Academic curiosity
  • Academic effort and performance at the exemplary level
  • Consistent contribution to the Laboure learning community, including faculty and classmates

This award was presented by Marianne Garfi, RHIA, CCS, representing MaHIMA and Elise Belanger, RHIA, Chairperson of HIT at Laboure College, at Manet Community Health Center on June 15 with Lynne’s Manet preceptors, Nancy Quilty, Operations Manager and Robin Gilbert VP & Chief Human Resources Officer.
